Technical overview

14m Truss specifications

Truss-framed construction for greater internal height and load capacity, on the same fourteen-metre span as our 14m Compact. Every figure is published inside to inside, with the exact millimetre measurement alongside it.

Every Container Shelters end wall is modular, meaning it can be added, removed or upgraded later if your requirements change.

Site-specific engineering and final dimensions may vary according to location, exposure and mounting method.

Mounting options

One width, mounted your way.

The shelter is the same size either way. Mount inside to inside for the full 14m clear span, or outside to outside to bring the containers under cover as well — which reduces the clear space between them to approximately 10.13m. Either option works on single or double-stacked containers.

Not every site suits containers. We also mount on block walls, timber or steel posts — see the Rotorua District Council project below.
Inside to inside mounted 14m Truss container shelter, single stack Standard

Inside to Inside - Single Stack

The shelter mounts to the inner edges of the containers. The quoted 14m span is the clear space between them.

  • Our standard configuration
  • Span measured between containers
  • Lowest overall height
Outside to outside mounted 14m Truss container shelter, single stack

Outside to Outside - Single Stack

The shelter mounts to the outer edges of the containers, so the containers sit under cover as well. The clear space between them is approximately 10.13m.

  • Approximately 10.13m between containers
  • Containers protected under the roof
  • Same overall shelter size
Inside to inside mounted 14m Truss container shelter, double stacked

Inside to Inside - Double Stack

Mounted inside to inside on containers stacked two high, for extra height clearance under the shelter.

  • Extra height clearance
  • Span measured between containers
  • Two containers high
Outside to outside mounted 14m Truss container shelter, double stacked

Outside to Outside - Double Stack

Mounted outside to outside on double-stacked containers, bringing the containers under cover with maximum height clearance.

  • Containers under cover
  • Extra height clearance
  • Two containers high

End wall options

Configure your shelter for the way you work.

Choose the right balance of access, weather protection, security and airflow for your site.

Every Container Shelters end wall is modular, meaning it can be added, removed or upgraded later if your requirements change.

Open End

Maximum access and airflow for machinery, vehicles and high-traffic operations.

  • Lowest-cost configuration
  • Maximum access
  • Fastest installation

Full End Wall

Maximum weather protection for bulk materials, storage and demanding industrial sites.

  • Full-height protection
  • Better environmental control
  • Custom access openings available
Popular

Half End Wall

Extra protection from prevailing weather while maintaining generous access.

  • Reduces wind and rain entry
  • Maintains good ventilation
  • Ideal for machinery storage

The Container Shelters difference

KeeperTrack

12 Years of Continuous Improvement.

2016 Previous generation
Earlier Container Shelters end wall edge fixing system

Industry standard edge fixing

Our earlier end wall system relied on a more conventional edge-fixing method.

  • More visible fabric movement
  • Less consistent long-term tension
  • Noisy in a wind event
  • More manual adjustment
2026 KeeperTrack today
KeeperTrack continuous bead in an aluminium extrusion

KeeperTrack

A Keder bead slides into a precision aluminium extrusion for a cleaner, tighter finish.

  • Maintains more consistent fabric tension
  • Cleaner, more premium appearance
  • Reduced movement in strong winds
  • Silent in a wind event

Built from more than 12 years of real-world experience.

After supplying thousands of shelters, we redesigned the way our end walls attach to the container. KeeperTrack is the result.

We don't just sell shelters. We continually improve them.

Council / Organics Sector

The project

Six courses of block, then five metres of truss.

Rotorua District Council needed serious covered volume at their FOGO plant, where food and green organics are processed. A 14m x 40ft Truss shelter was mounted on six courses of interlocking, vertically reinforced blocks — 3.6 metres of block wall before the shelter even starts, and 8.6 metres to the apex once it does.

The block wall foundations and blockwork were carried out by others. We worked in alongside them to get the structure engineered and consented, then installed. The project was delivered for the Council through their consultants, with whom we have completed multiple large-scale shelter installations.
