TRANSPORT & LOGISTICS SHELTERS
Covered Space,
Without The Build.
Freight depots, devanning bays, fleet maintenance and overflow storage — spans to 24 metres, up in days rather than months.
TRUSTED BY INDUSTRY LEADERS ACROSS NEW ZEALAND SINCE 2014
Full Truck Access
Double-stack for clearance over trucks and handlers.
Spans To 24m
Column-free floor for forklifts and racking layouts.
Relocatable
Dismantle and re-erect if the lease or depot changes.
Clearance Figures
Span, rise and apex height listed for every width.
Operating Since 2014
Over a decade supplying shelters throughout New Zealand.
ContainerCo, Mt Maunganui
A 21m wide shelter running 60ft in length, mounted on double-stacked containers — built for a yard where container handlers and trucks need to work underneath, not around.
Double-stacking lifts the structure clear of machinery, so the full covered footprint stays available for handling and staging rather than static storage.
Space That Keeps Freight Moving
Container devanning and unpacking, cross-docking, overflow warehousing, fleet maintenance bays, laydown yards and loading areas — covered space that flexes with volume instead of locking you into a build.

Capacity That Matches Your Lease
Freight volumes move and leases end. A container shelter gives you serious covered capacity without committing to a permanent building on ground you may not hold in five years — and it comes apart and goes back up somewhere else if you do move.
Will A Truck Fit Underneath?
Every width in the range has its clear span, rise and overall apex height listed on its own page, on both standard and Hi-Cube containers, single or double-stacked.
Check the figures against your tallest unit, your handlers and your racking heights before you talk to anyone. If nothing in the range gives you the clearance, site-specific engineering usually can.
Working Sites Across New Zealand

21m x 24m Double-Stacked
Covered material handling with the height clearance for loaders working underneath.
Double-Stacked With Hangar Door
A fully enclosed, lockable build for large-format work under cover.
Over 3,500 shelters installed across New Zealand.
From container depots and freight yards through to maintenance workshops, packhouses and overflow storage, Container Shelters has become one of New Zealand's most widely used shelter systems.

Common Questions From Depot Managers
Practical answers to the questions we get asked most by transport and logistics operators.
Will a truck and trailer fit underneath?
Yes in most cases. Overall apex heights run from around 4.36m up to 9.04m depending on width and container configuration, and every figure is published on the individual shelter pages so you can check it against your fleet before enquiring.
Can we devan containers under the shelter?
Yes. This is one of the most common uses. Mounting inside to inside gives you a clear working span between the containers, and the containers themselves become lockable storage as part of the structure.
What happens if we move depots?
The shelter can be dismantled and re-erected on the new site. Because there are no conventional foundations, relocation is far more practical than with a permanent building — which matters if you're on a leased yard.
How quickly can we get covered space?
Installation is typically measured in days rather than months. Lead time depends on size, configuration and engineering requirements, which we confirm as part of your quote.
Can it be secured overnight?
Yes. Full end walls, mechanical doors and lockable configurations are all available, and the mounted containers provide secure storage in their own right.
Do we need building consent?
Consent requirements vary depending on location, size, intended use and how long the structure will remain in place. We can provide engineering documentation to support a consent application where one is required.
Can it go on our existing hardstand?
Usually yes. Shelters mount to containers, block walls or posts rather than requiring deep foundations, so a prepared hardstand is generally sufficient. We confirm requirements for your ground conditions during design.
Do you install nationwide?
Yes. We supply and install throughout New Zealand using our nationwide installer network.
