VIP Frame & Truss
VIP Frame & Truss already had over 200m of shelter across their operation when demand required another rapid expansion. With stock on hand and a fast engineering turnaround, we delivered and installed 100m of 21m wide shelter in weeks rather than months.
They now have approximately 400m of shelter installed across their branches, making them one of our largest repeat customers — covered space added without disrupting production.
Built For The Way Sites Actually Run

Covered Space, Without The Build Programme
Construction programmes move fast. Container shelters give you large covered areas in days rather than months, with no conventional foundations and the option to relocate as the job changes.
Brighter. Cooler. Built For New Zealand Conditions.
Unlike darker covers commonly used throughout the industry, our white 610gsm ripstop PVC reflects heat, improves natural light and creates a brighter working environment throughout the day.
We put a white cover and a grey cover side by side on a 30°C day and measured both. The white sat at 31°C. The grey reached 50°C. On site that means better visibility for crews, less reliance on temporary lighting, and a cover that is not stretching and needing re-tensioning through summer.

Common Questions About Site Shelters
Practical answers to the most common questions about shelters on construction sites.
Do I need building consent for a container shelter on site?
Consent requirements vary depending on location, size, use and how long the structure will remain in place. We can provide guidance and engineering documentation where required.
Can the shelter be relocated when the job finishes?
Yes. Because the shelters mount to containers, blocks or poles rather than conventional foundations, they can be dismantled and relocated to the next site.
How quickly can a shelter be installed?
Many projects are completed within days rather than months. Timing depends on size, site access and engineering requirements, which we confirm as part of your quote.
Can we install on an existing hardstand or concrete pad?
Yes. Shelters can be installed over existing surfaces, and can be mounted on containers, block walls, timber or steel posts depending on the site.
What wind zones are your shelters suitable for?
We supply shelter solutions for a range of New Zealand wind zones. Site exposure, elevation, shelter size and mounting method all influence the design. We assess each project individually and can provide site-specific engineering where required.
Can I add end walls, doors or gutters later?
Yes. End walls, access doors, gutter systems and other accessories can often be added as site requirements evolve.
How long do container shelters last?
Our shelters use heavy-duty galvanised steel frames and premium 610gsm ripstop PVC covers, backed by a 10-year replacement warranty. Replacement covers are available if required in the future.
Do you install nationwide?
Yes. We supply and install container shelters throughout New Zealand using our nationwide installer network.
